
Hats
aren't as popular now as they once were which is a shame.
A good hat can finish any outfit whether it's on the stage,
the catwalk or just in the high street.
As
usual, you can get a better look at the images on the left
by clicking on them. The cream coloured hat with the bow is
part of a theatrical costume made for a production of Frankenstein.

The Egyptian-style headdress was made from 'scrap' material.
A brass plate, which was already cut into shape, was secured
to the strip of leather with copper wire. The hair is fake
and sewn on by hand with gold thread. It just shows what can
be done with almost any material with a bit of imagination.
