My name is Brigitte Juergensen but everyone calls me Giddy.
I live in London now but I am originally from Germany, where I first learned dressmaking at the Erle ZF factory in Ellerau, near Hamburg, when it was the base for German designer Joop! (It was later taken over by Jil Sander).
I spent ten years working for Rokit, doing alteration design and repair. Along the way, I got my BA in Costume Design for the Performing Arts at the London College of Fashion.
I do a lot of sewing and design in my spare time too, either for friends or for a local theatre group.
When I'm not wielding the scissors, I enjoy travelling, clubbing and going to movies. I am a Sci-Fi fan and I love Star Trek.. I am a bit camera shy which is why there are no good pictures of me on this site so please...click here and I will go away and hide...
